This study explores the views of senior Czechoslovak People’s Army officers from both „state-forming“ nationalities regarding how the issue of adequate Slovak representation in the army had been addressed since the end of Second World 2. While the Slovak officers’ perspective is subjective and offers few concrete solutions or practical options for the relevant authorities, the views of their Czech counterparts are markedly more constructive.
