The above mentioned material records development of the Slovak Republic's MND activities during the WW2, that were aimed at introducing production of military' aircraft w ithin the Slovak territory. The basic material on which the author based processing of this topic were the unpublished memories of that time Minister of National Defence (MND), Gen. F. Catlos. He confronts the quoted arguments of Gen. Čatloš with available relevant archive materials and using them he polemizes with Čatloš's post-war arguments on the reasons leading to the attempt to introduce production of military aircraft in Slovakia and not fulfilling the intents with aviation production in Trenčianske Biskupice.
